Meaning Alex is a writer and illustrator. His first project was a children’s book called The Boy Who Cried Ninja. When he's not making books, he loves to make delightful images.
He uses a 2B 0.5 clutch pencil and white printer paper to draw on, scans his drawings into his computer to add colour and texture (and a bit of magic).
His range of illustrations is a cross-section of his work over the last few years. A lot of these printed works are illustrations he worked on as he developed his personal style as a children’s book illustrator.
'The Overlook' forms part of his ode to movies and is taken from The Shining.
