Growing up in Europe and now living in South Africa makes you compare what you grew up with and what you are exposed to now. Tradition, food, people, communication, climate and ...the animal kingdom. South Africa and its vast diversity of culture is not only reflected through the people. Flora and fauna are as colourful as South Africans themselves. From the big 5 to the Shongololo worm, all are unique to this continent and every species deserves a portrait. The dassies are quirky little fellas who are living in rock crevices. The closest living relatives are the modern-day elephant. Who would`ve thought?!
Sarah studied graphic design in the heart of Hamburg and during her exchange program at "Friends of Design" in Cape Town, fell in love... with this city, its vibe and the ubiquitous creativity. Sarah moved to the Mother City in 2011 and wakes with a smile on her face, grateful to be living among beautiful people and this breathtaking scenery.
